Kamp 2023 theme:

Rediscovering Ruth: Big lessons from a little book

At some point, some decided that the book of Ruth is primarily (or even only) a book for women.  While it certainly IS a book for women, limiting the application of its message to only female believers (or any other specific demographic) misses the fullness of its intended impact.

Ruth is a book for all of us, and we should all desire to be like Ruth.  This year at Kamp Kennessee, we will seek to rediscover Ruth and see that this little book has BIG lessons for all who are seeking to do what’s right in the eyes of the Lord.  These lessons are especially powerful because they are seen in faithful people who lived in a time when “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”  Living in a similar time, God can use us to have a similar impact, if we are “worthy” in a similar way!
